Boyle Community Notes Week beginning 10th November (Week 45)

Boyle Tidy Towns - meeting
Boyle Tidy Towns will hold a meeting on Tuesday 10th at 8pm in the Enterprise Centre a good attendance would be greatly appreciated in order to set up plans for the enhancement of the town for next year.

BOYLE GOLF CLUB
The Men’s AGM takes place on Sunday November 15th at 5.00pm in the clubhouse. Parent Club AGM takes place on Sunday November 22nd. Notices have been sent via email or post. If you have not received a notice please contact Brendan Gaffney, Honorary Secretary

Indoor Camogie
Any girl aged between 6 and 8 is invited to come along to the Boyle Sports Complex on Friday 20th November at 6pm until 7pm and try it out. The evening will consist of skill development and fun games. Everyone welcome! Equipment will be provided. COMMUNITY STALL AVAILABLE
Boyle Farmers Market has a "Community Stall" available in our new all-weather Farmers Market. The idea is to have a different community group attend each week to promote, showcase your wares, raise awareness of your organisation or group etc. This is for community only. We would love to hear from any groups interested in getting involved... please contact us here or email Janice on info@unabhan.ie for more details. The stall will be free and you will be a guest of the market for that day. We would love to hear from groups such as the ICA, the Scouts, Tidy Towns and so on. Please share with anyone you know that might be interested.

TICKET OFFICE oPEN 
The BMS ticket office is open from 12:30pm to 2:30pm up until Saturday November 21st A detailed seating plan is available on www.boylemusicalsociety.com. Tickets can also be booked by telephone on the BMS Ticketline 087 4342011. This line will be open during booking office hours only. We also accept credit card bookings. The Wizard of Oz will open at 8pm on Wednesday November 18th and continue until Sunday November 22nd in St. Joseph’s Hall, Boyle. There will also be a special matinée performance on Sunday 22nd at 3pm. Tickets are priced at €12 for the Wednesday and Thursday performances only. All other performances are €15 and children’s tickets for the Sunday matinée are €10. Please note that there is no booking available for the Wednesday and Thursday performances.

BOYLE MUSICAL SOCIETY Monster Raffle
€1500 worth of prizes to be won in this Monster Raffle, including a two night stay for two, at the Hilton London Bankside Hotel! Envelopes for this fabulous raffle cost €5 and are available from Mary Magee's, Taylors Jewellers, Úna Bhán and the BMS Ticket office. The draw will take place on Sunday November 22nd, during the final performance of The Wizard of Oz

Christmas lights draw
Lines are available to purchase until Monday December 21st for Boyle Christmas Lights Cash Draw. Feature pieces are being added to our new lights this year and we look forward to the official ‘Turning On’ of thee lights. We are giving away cash prices this year of €1000 (1st Prize); €500 (2nd Prize); €250 (3rd Prize); €150(4th Prize); and €100 (5th Prize). Lines are €2 each or 3 for €5. Lines will be on sale in all businesses throughout the town, but if anyone has been omitted or would like a card please call Stephen on 086 8360666. Make Boyle even brighter this year, and thank you for supporting the draw.

Running Club
The club meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 8pm in Results Gym car park. All different levels of running/walking catered for on the 5k Carrick Rd, Maple Drive, Abbeytown circuit. There is no charge and everyone is responsible for their own safety so please wear a hi vis vest.

BOYLE FARMERS MARKET
Boyle Farmers Market now has a new look - our all weather Farmers Market will provide a more comfortable and inviting facility while still providing local, wholesome and fresh produce. Please come along and support - your custom is very much appreciated and welcome.

Boyle Golf Club
On Sunday 31st of October saw the weekly nine hole won by Charlie O’Donnell 21pts. The Alzheimer’s Classic held over the October weekend was won by Colm Loftus, Shane Loftus, Tommy Ahern & Joe Hussey (110pts), 2nd Jim Mooney, Michael Simon, Frank Flanagan & Michael Reid (107pts), 3rd Liam Whyte, Willie Tiernan, Jonathan Egan & Vincent Egan (105pts). Best Ladies Team Liz Dwyer, Peggy Feely, Moira Egan & Tish Perry (96pts). Nearest the Pin, T Booth (Ballymote), Longest Drive, Liam Mullaney (Boyle). Thanks to Paula Cull and Drumderrig Nursing Home for their generous sponsorship of a perpetual cup and prizes. Raffle winners were Margaret O’Mahoney (Leinster V Connaught Tickets), John Frain, Regina McLoughlin, Ann Rush, Ruth Hogg, Ailbhe Hanmore, Sean O’Dowd, Mary O’Hara, Brendan Gaffney, Marina Hughes, Lewis Shaw. On behalf of the players Liz Dwyer thanked the organisers and congratulated the club on a great weekend. Total funds raised to date are €4095.00.

BINGO IN BOYLE
Every Tuesday evening in St. Josephs Hall Boyle at 8.30pm until 10.30pm. €1000 Jackpot to be won every week.
