Boyle Community Notes Week beginning 12th January (Week 2)

Parents of underage boys football
You are invited to a special meeting to be held in the GAA Clubroom on Tuesday 12th January at 8.30pm where you will be briefed on what the Club has to offer in football coaching and playing for all from age 6 to 18. "We want to ensure that you are fully informed on all club activities and we warmly welcome your involvement with the Club."

Education and Training Board
Galway Roscommon ETB  (Education and Training Board) is offering the following free classes for Adults in Roscommon Learning Links, Elphin Street, Boyle: Computers for Beginners including Internet and email - Registration Tuesday 12th January at 1pm. English for Speakers of Other Languages - Registration Wednesday 13th January at 6pm. Communication, Maths and Computer Literacy classes are also available. Contact:  Maureen Tel: 086 046 4378

Pilates Recommencing
Pilates will be commencing on Wednesday 13th January from 7pm until 8pm in Convent of Mercy Primary School Gym. To book contact Ann on 086 308 8873.

Gain IT certification in 2016
Why not make a New Year’s Resolution to gain Certification at Level 4 or 5 in IT at Roscommon Learning links Elphin Street, Boyle. If you are currently unemployed and looking to gain skills and certification to help re-enter the workplace or progress to further education then please call us on 071 9664510 or call into us any morning (located next door to Trojan). Boyle and District Angling Club AGM
The AGM of Boyle and District Angling club will be held on Friday 29th January at 8.30pm in the Patrick's Well, Boyle. All members are requested to attend

Curlew walkers club
The next meeting of the club will take place on Saturday 23rd January, meeting on the Crescent, Boyle at 10am. The walk will take place at Mote Park and is a Flat grade C, with your leader being Mary Finn 087 2872 076 and Ann Murphy 086 8100 309.  Please confirm times with leader or website prior to each walk www.walkingboyle.com. 

New date for Toughest Muckers
The date for the first”Toughest Muckers” of the year in Lough Key Forest Park has been announced. Mark in your diary Sunday 28th February for one of the most enjoyable and testing days in the local sporting calendar. A number of new obstacles are planned for the 2016 event. Registrations for the Toughest Muckers event will open shortly and details will be available on Boyletoday.com.

COMMUNITY STALL AVAILABLE
Boyle Farmers Market has a "Community Stall” free and available in our all-weather Farmers Market. The idea is to have a different community group attend each week to promote, showcase your wares, raise awareness of your organisation or group etc. This is for community only. We would love to hear from any groups interested in getting involved... please contact us here or email Janice on info@unabhan.ie for more details. The stall will be free and you will be a guest of the market for that day. We would love to hear from groups such as the ICA, the Scouts, Tidy Towns and so on. Please share with anyone you know that might be interested.
